Debbie Simms

My name is Debbie Simms and I have been blessed to be a resident here in this incredible town for 17 years.  I have a wonderful husband Steve, and two active high school students Lauren and Mitchell.  I currently teach the Talented and Gifted Program for Lyons Elementary and have been doing this for 17 years.  I produce a yearly Shakespeare play with the whole fifth grade that we perform for the community.  I am an avid reader and gardener and can be found digging in the dirt all over Town in the garden beds that the Garden Club maintains.  I am a board member in the Garden Club; and we are an active and vital resource to the Town.  I can also be found sitting in the bleachers and cheering my kids on in soccer , softball, basketball, baseball, and track meets.  I feel our Town of Lyons is a dynamic and vibrant place to live, a safe place to raise kids, and a place others envy for it’s beauty and quality of life.  I am so lucky to be part of it all!
