Focus on a Grantee

Basic Needs and Emergency Fund

The Basic Needs and Emergency Fund (BNEF) is directed by the Claire McNulty-Drewes of the Lyons Community Church and is supported by it's own advisory board.

This fund offers to help community members in an urgent situation.  The aid comes through an allocated amount of money that goes toward paying a bill.  The money is never given directly to the individual seeking help, but to the third party in question. The fund has helped support housing and utility related needs, medical emergencies and transportation needs.

For assistance or to apply for a grant from the BNEF, contact Claire at 303.532.6840 or via email.

Claire explains for those requiring assistance, "A little help goes a long way".
