Each year, the Lyons Community Foundation awards grants to local nonprofits, schools, and community groups working to improve the quality of life in Lyons. From public art and youth programs to human services and environmental initiatives, these grants help bring community-driven projects to life.

Overview
The Lyons Community Foundation (LCF) Community Support Grant program empowers local leaders and organizations to create lasting, positive change. We fund projects that improve quality of life, strengthen our local community, and foster a culture of giving across the greater Lyons area.
Who Is Eligible?
To be eligible for a Community Support Grant, your organization must serve the greater Lyons area and fit one of the following categories:

501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organizations

Groups with a 501(c)(3) Fiscal Sponsor

Government Agencies

Local Schools
What’s New for 2026

Higher Funding Cap: We’ve increased our maximum grant size to $7,000 per project to help turn bigger ideas into reality.
