Tanya has accumulated much experience working with local non-profit organizations in Lyons, such as the Lyons Elementary School PTO and LEAF. Tanya is excited to promote LCF as she believes that her personal values align with its mission statement: "LCF exists to improve the quality of life, build a culture of giving, and create positive change in the greater Lyons area".
Lyons Share Fund: $43K to support local businesses
Thanks to the Lyons Share Fund, a small business economic relief fund initiated by the St.Vrain Market, 43 locally owned and operated companies received $1,000 each to help cover expenses such as rent, utilities, payroll, etc. during the COVID-19 extended business closures. Below Jasmine Lok of Defined Motion shows how the grant they received was able to help pay for an outdoor dance studio so that they could keep teaching dance classes to local youth. Check out our Facebook page to see how the Lyons Share Fund has had a positive impact on other local businesses.
